I am excited that God has called me to Conestoga Christian School and look forward to what he has in store for the school year.  Below is my philosophy and approach to Christian education.

Spiritually, I believe the supervisor in a Christian school serves as a shepherd who seeks to facilitate a school environment and community where staff, students, and parents are encouraged to grow in their relationship with Jesus through the study of the Scriptures and in their interaction with His Church and the world.  The supervisor must seek to walk in the Spirit to demonstrate the love of Christ and exemplify Christ’s life and holiness.  He should encourage staff and students to think critically in order to be salt and light in a lost world and culture.

Academically, I believe that the supervisor is a servant leader, who works with the many constituencies of the school and community to facilitate a comprehensive learning environment that provides an opportunity for all students to succeed academically and grow in their relationship with the Lord.  Academically, through the development of professional learning communities, curriculum should be mapped through a process of backward design. Instruction should be student-centered and differentiated to provide understanding and success for all students.  Students also need to be taught to understand themselves as learners and to develop learning strategies that will enable them to be successful in completing the requirements of any type of learning activity and assessment.

Feel free to contact me at anytime.  I would be happy to talk with you concerning your child and their education as well as edcuation in general.
